is very low. The daytime temperatures in the summer can get pretty
hot but the nights are always pleasant. Take a jacket or sweater
with you just in case.

San Diego is a big city with a small town feel.
As the 7th largest city in the United States, San Diego is home
to just over 2.8 million people. It occupies over 400 hundred square
miles. The terrain is diverse; from sandy beaches to high mountains,
San Diego has it all.
Despite its overall size,
San Diego is both urban and accessible. If you're downtown a car
is not really necessary because you can walk the entire downtown
area and explore the upbeat and trendy Gaslamp Quarter which is
a 16 block area of shops, galleries, coffee houses, theatre, and
many great restaurants. You can also visit the Horton Plaza, dine
to almost any cuisine and dance to the beat of a hot local band,
attend a new theatre opening, catch a famous headliner, take a sunrise
or sunset seaside stroll, take your family and picnic in Balboa
park, or visit many historic buildings or local historic sites.
Take the downtown trolley or take the bus to Balboa Park museums
and the Zoo, Old Town historic sites, Mission Bay Marine Park, Qualcomm
Stadium, delightful urban neighborhoods, outlying shopping malls,
and for an international touch, Tijuana, Mexico.
